The build has started

I got my new parts in yesterday so I removed the body and did some cleaning. I got a new black body, 12 inch wheels, rear seat and light kit. Here is some before and after pic's. I still have to install the rear seat, new dash, led lights and stereo. I think I will order a lot of stainless too.

Here's what it started out as yesterday afternoon.

What a change, certainly for the better. Looking sharp.

It occured to me after seeing your frame in such good shape. That after a year or so, since I have put so much work on the undercarriage, I can upgrade the body as well. money and time would not allow this time.

Keep us posted with pics of future upgrades

The condition amazed me too. All I did is remove the body and hit it with the pressure washer. No rubbing or soap or anything. When I put the open wheels on it the brake drums showed through and they looked like brand new. When I did the Caroche I had to get a wire wheel, then a buffer and rubbing compound and it still didn't look as good as this one. I guess that's what keeping it in a garage all it's life does. This weekend will be install the rear seat, 48 volt to 12 converter, wire up the lights, install a lot of LED's. dash, stereo and what ever else I can figure out. It go's to the lake next weekend so this is it.

I put in a plum quick bandit. Very pleased. The cart went from 12 to 13 mph to 21. I spent the night installing the madjax 48 to 12 converter and wireing the lights. All went well. It was just dumb luck I became an electrician for a living but what a handy thing to be able to do.

is all of the other electronics stock? did you notice an improvement in torque?

All other are stock. Big improvement in torque. I am very pleased with the performance now. It was puney before.
