Ya, it's a bummer for sure. For now I'm just going to use it as is with an open diff, 1 wheel drive. If it becomes an issue I guess I still have a couple choices.
One would be to try this traction control limited slip setup: http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/golf...-1986-up/28012 or another would be to have the spider gears welded so that it is always locked 2wd. In the meantime I'll keep my eyes open for used parts in case something should become available. |
