2002 CC DS acts like it's running out of fuel...
Hey guys. Got a good one for ya! I've got a gas cart in the shop today. Customer says it acts like its running out of fuel. First thing I did was put a fuel pump on it, noticed the fuel lines themselves were pretty dry rotted/hard so I replaced all the lines as well. The cart runs for about 6 seconds then dies out. If you wait a few seconds, it'll crank right back up, but only to die out again.
I noticed im getting oil in the fuel filter from the crank case (lifted cart), so I drained the oil and put in exactly 1 1/2 quarts. Im STILL getting oil in the fuel pump. How do I stop this? |

Only takes 38 0z. with filter . if you do not change filter only takes 1 qt.per service manual.when you check oil on lifted cart it should read almost half way to low. If you jack up rear of cart to be sure all oil can drain,put 1 qt. in,it will be right level.
