Club Car Carryall II (DS) lifted and upgraded
My dad and I decided to purchase a gas Club Car Carryall II for the 38 acre plot of land that he likes to call "the farm". The Club Car is a 1994, and we purchased it off of Craigslist. When we got it home, we realized that it was probably not going to work well at the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, and the ride was very rough. Additionally, we have lots of hills to go up and down, and the right rear brake would lock up and slide on just the slightest incline.
We started thinking about a lift and larger tires to help with clearance and with the ride. We also decided to take out one of the rear leaf springs for ride quality, as the Carryall comes with a 4 leaf set, 3 sprung and one flat helper. The clutch was going to need some help since we were not going to upgrade the motor. Larger tires should also help with some of the bumps. Finally, we wanted a lift that we could use with front disc brakes. I am posting several pics along the way, as the project is not yet complete. I'll try to narrate a bit as well. Here goes: |

Switch your left rear and right front tires. Just to match the tread direction

Also, that extra diff support bolt was broke in 2 on my carryall. I did the super sport 6" lift on mine, didn't come with a replacement.
