Default I want to add to my OEM light kit

2009-12 DS, Gas, with light kit installed from the manufacturer. For the front lights, there is the headlight and a yellow reflector with a rubber boot seal behind it. I assume the Yellow reflector can be made into a turn signal light?? Has anyone done this? Is there some sort of bulb seat that I'll need to get if I want turn signals. OR should I replace all of my lights with a deluxe turn signal kit. I really don't want to do that if I can help it.

Any recommendations on converting the OEM front light cluster to accept a turn signal light?...that is the question.

I did it to my OEM amber lights! (no turn signals, just riding lights!)

Twist and pull the rubber socket filler out and go to your local auto parts store,
If I remember correctly, it was a late 70's, early 80's GM side marker socket!
I also remember the the twist/hold down tabs on the new socket needed to be filed down a bit to fit in the bezel!

Thanks LockMan1!. Was gonna try that if no one answered. I think I will be installing turn signals though. That should require a double filament bulb.

Double filament? I'm not so sure that there are small sockets for double filament... but I've been wrong before!

Good luck!
