Default Extreme Duty Drive Belt?

My old 1989 Gas Club Car can climb anything, but I need to replace the drive belt every couple years, and it still looks great, but slips.
Question: Does the "Extreme Duty Belt" do any better? I use it as a farm vehicle for all kinds of chores and spraying fence lines with herbicide and I am always going up hill our down, then when I pull a trailer it smokes the belt.

I don't haul anything super heavy, but my old belt used to slip when wet after crossing a local creek, but after upgrading to the HD belt it hasn't slipped once. It should be an improvement over what you run now. I'd recommend it.

I have one on my cart, and now I refuse to go back to a stock belt!

X2 on the recommendation!

I guess I need one, but the ads say it's for the DC or Carryall without giivng a length or part #. The belts for the 1989 Club Car say for 1988-1991 and give length. ours is a 1989. I don't think they are all inter-changeable. Anybody have a link or Part # for the correct one?
Thanks,

If your 89 is a DS, it uses #1017188 (as does my 07 Lynx) and I bought my severe duty belt from Cart Parts Plus,
CPP is revamping their website, so it's not listed on it right now,
It's best that you give them a call and ask for the severe duty belt for the 7188, I'll bet that they have it!

I got the new extreme duty drive belt (Thanks for the Tip) and installed it with a new starter/generator belt. Seems to work fine so far, but I have not towed a trailer up hill yet. The new one feels the same and it took my neighbor & me up a pretty steep hill which the old belt wouldn't. Soon I'll test it further when my snow plow arrives (Hopefully
before it's needed)
This 28 year old flathead is a real workhorse. Are the newer ones better?
