08 txt new batteries won't go
I'm trying to diagnose the problem with my cart. Sat with no batteries for two years, i purchased new batteries this year.
Installed batteries, cart ran fine for the test run. Large green wires got too hot to touch after a 10 minute non-stop run. Next time out, cart ran fine on level ground but would not climb hills. Cart now will not move at all. Press the pedal, hear the solenoid click, but no go. I checked for bad wires and found one bad one. The white wire coming from the brake pedal had a melted disconnect. Replaced that and still no go. Any help on where to go next is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. JB |

You must have a melted cable or terminal. Check for corrosion and loose connections, especially around the forward and reverse switch if it’s a series cart. 2 AWG cables throughout are the way to go.
