Can you or do you want to save a monitor file and post it here showing what is going on when the cart is misbehaving

Yes planning to tonight, had wife's laptop yesterday and turned out it didn't have excel.

Motor voltage, Amps , and throttle % were all over the board.

Getting ready to drive this cart into the Atlantic ocean.

Across J4 and J5 with the white and black wires attached ought to be 10V when solenoid clicks and 6V with pedal on floor, so both of the readings you got were way out of range on the low voltage side.

Disconnect the white and black wires from J4 and J5 and measure the voltage between the controller's J4 and J5 terminals after pushing pedal far enough to make solenoid click. You ought to get 10V to 12V.

If you don't get 10V to 12V, the controller is bad.

If you do get 10V to 12V, the problem is the ITS sensor or the wiring connecting it to the controller.

-------
You have a new ITS sensor, so the problem is probably a partial short between the white and black wires. If your cart has in in-line connector connecting the gray cable from the pedal box to the cart's wiring harness, that is the most likely place for the partial short to occur. The connector gets wet and corrodes, then crosstalk happens.

You don't need EXEL on the laptop.
Save the data log as CSV (comma separated values) file, then zip it and you can attach it to a post.

Hey guys, attached is the monitor file from a short drive last night... towards the end pedal was fully depressed and cart would barely move. Again if i got off pedal and back on it would start.. only to do it again.

Battery pack was a bit low.. but just hadnt been charged in a day or two

thanks for all the help

Just checked across J4 and J5. 10.28 with pedal slightly depressed... Still 10.28 at floor.

If the white and black wire were disconnected when you measured 10.28V between J4 and J5, and you have a new ITS sensor installed, it appears the wires between the controller and the ITS sensor are partially shorted together, putting some unwanted resistance in parallel with the ITS sensor.

Run a couple of new wires between ITS sensor and controller, and try it.

I'll give it a try, I thought I was looking for 10-12V. It was between 10 and 12... Just didn't change when depressed?
