2007 TXT PDS can I make it go faster
Is there a way to make this cart go any faster, doesn't seem to go that fast at high speed, just changed batteries. Takes off very quick but riding on flat surface it doesn't go too fast. Everything is stock including tires etc.

The stock controller can limit speed to 13-14 mph with the standard "chip". Freedom chip gives 19 mph. But Best is the Alltrax XCT which gives 35% more power and 22-23 mph. It is a very nice cart really

I got the Alltrax from ScottyB for 2003 PDS and it was night and day difference! Not only speed but hill climbing ability.

Is it difficult to install either the chip or all trex controller, anyone have instructions I can take a look at before I buy?

Chip is very easy. Alltrax is a little bit more involved but worth it. Cartsunlimited.net for the controller.

You can always try to replace the speed sensor magnet. Basic concept is that the magnet has less poles and tricks the controller into thinking the motor is spinning slower than it really is.

There is no standard chip. No chip is stock speed, mild hill chip gives minor regen, steep hill 17MPH and far more regen, and freedom is 18 MPH and no regen. Chip isnt really an accurate term, they're just jumper wires in different pins of a four pin molex conector, you can make them yourself.

ScottyB knows his stuff. I bought everything from him and installed it myself with his tech support. Cart runs strong with no issues
