Re: Lift block kit - pros/cons?
Yeah, I have a TXT.
I'm not so concerned about diff clearance as I am about high centering. The batteries are 2 years old, so when they puke I plan to go 48v. At the moment I'm ok with a lift and stock tires, even if it's a bit goofy looking. The only reason the block kit caught my eye was for under $100 I could get a little ground clearance and not waste a lot of money if I decided to got taller later. The idea of just putting a block between the front springs and the axle just gives me the willies. BTW, my left side springs a sagged out. Does a 'spring lift' exist, do the heavy duty springs lift the cart at all? |

Re: Lift block kit - pros/cons?
Ggroff,
That kit WILL NOT fit your cart ! All of the rear mounting of the gas vs electric differential/springs is different... it fits gas only.... There are plenty of 3", 4", 5", and 6" kits available, Look around at some carts in your area, ask what lift/tire they have.... that should get you in the right direction |
