Re: Ezgo pds golf cart limp mode
Yes, it could very well be a controller failure.

Re: Ezgo pds golf cart limp mode
Okay I though controller. But it’s still going in limp mode. I found another issues maybe link cart goes forward in neutral
Will even go forward with the forward reverse switch removed. This cart driving me crazy. |

2. Same controller, same controller that has been "repaired" or entirely different controller? 3. Controller may default to forward mode. -------------- With Run/Tow switch and F/R switch unplugged from controller, what are the voltages on all 10 pins of J1? |

Re: Ezgo pds golf cart limp mode
1) I thought it was controller issue
2) totally different controller 3) I notice when in neutral it still went forward. So unplugged all 3 wires to forward reverse switch. It still goes forward. I’ll check voltage when I get home |

Re: Ezgo pds golf cart limp mode
Quote:
Pin-4 cross-talking with Pin-9 might allow the symptoms you've described. Pins 4 & 5 have battery pack voltage on them and some debris or corrosion can create a voltage path to other pins. Measure the voltage on the other pins when J1 is unplugged to see if there is any cross-talk. |

Re: Ezgo pds golf cart limp mode
With help from biphase. We figured out f/r issue.
We have good voltage on J1 but J5 plug is the issue. Red wire on J5 is .4v. Is this a controller issue or just a speed sensor issue Still going in limp mode |
