After using cart in 25* weather while camping in P A this weekend I discovered a windshield is must along with an inexpensive enclosure would be nice. Search amazon but prefer to buy fromforum sponsor here. Recomendations on whom to buy From?

I’d suggest getting the thicker one (iirc, they come in 3/16 and 1/4). And I’d also get one that is tinted and fold down. |

Re: Wind shield
I had a thinner one that flexed a lot and the trouble with flexing over bumps is it squeaks when it flexes... Drove me nuts!

Re: Wind shield
And in very cold weather the thin ones can crack when flexing.

Re: Wind shield
Get the windshield first and see. It breaks the wind a lot, maybe you won't need the enclosure. Plastic enclosures, unlike canvas ones won't last long in the cold either and can frost up from breath if conditions are right.

Re: Wind shield
They also have those cupholder propane heaters that work pretty good. That with a windshield you should be good. Had one when I lived up north loved it.

Re: Wind shield
I just finished a 4 mile ride averaging 16mph, full hard windshield with a full enclosure. I just had a jacket and pants on. Wind chill “not in the cart” is 24*, i was perfectly comfortable.
