48V Charger just clicking on and off
...not charging. I have a 2016 Yamaha Drive G29 AC.
Charger is model jw9-82107-02. I'd appreciate any diagnostics. Battery bank is at 48.7 volts. Should charge to around 53. I've checked most connections with my voltage meter. It has done this on occasion over the last few months. Now it won't go. |

Check the contacts where it plugs into the cart.

Test the batteries individually. I had a friend's Yamaha that was doing that and one of his new batteries was significantly lower voltage than the other 3. They warranted that battery since it was less than a month old and now charger and everything works fine.

I have the exact same make and model and I’ve been having the same problem. Sometimes it charges and sometimes the charger just clicks on and off. I’ve changed out the batteries and checked all contacts but it still does it. Let me know if you ever figure it out.
