Here are a couple of close ups of the Danaher connector.

Here is my upgraded Cable set and new Batteries that will be going in.

And finally the charger that I am going to install On-Board.

As part of the On-Board install I will also plan to use a plug and new/modified charge receptacle to replace the stock one.

The controller is current in-flight to get tuned and I hope my new battery rack ships tomorrow.

More updates to come....

Very cool. I did this conversion myself a few months back. Its pretty straight forward but I'm happy to help if you have any questions.

So I have to ask, why the change to 8V batteries? I have a 09 RXV that I have been thinking of upgrading to the curtis controller to get some more speed thank, but never thought about changing to 8V batteries.

Have a larger amp hour capacity and can push more amps than the 12volts. To summarize - they perform better for high demand applications - such as a tuned curtis amp or 350a controller upgrade.

In a stock configuration they should provide greater distance.

I am sure the experts can pepper in more specific details - but that is my understanding :)

Thanks for the answer. Will have to do some more study for which way to go when my batteries need replaced. I just wish I would have done more research on the RXV controllers before I purchased [emoji17]

If you attach your pics using the paperclip just to the right of the smiley face in the dialog box where you type your posts, it makes for a much more compact post, as you can see multiple thumbnails without having to scroll way down.

For example, here are a few 2248 x 3264 pics and a few smaller. Totally unrelated to what might be a good go-to post, just to make your post easier for future readers. Full resolution.

Thanks for the tip. I had been viewing/uploading pics from Tapatalk on my phone because i am on the go so much. I didnt realize that the pictures looked so bad until you said something and i logged in from a computer!

I will make sure and publish the remainder of the pics that way going forward.

So unfortunately i have ran into a hurdle. Countrycat informed me that my battery tray is on back order until 5/9-5/16 from Ezgo/textron.

Does anyone have a lead on where i can get a 6x8v Battery tray for an RXV?

I have a new aluminum one taking up space in my living room. I bought it with the intent of using it, but decided to go Lithium instead. If you want to make the trip, it is immediately available. I have no access to any shipper depots here, so I can't send it out via Fedex or UPS. I unwrapped it after it arrived, so no box.
