What is rxv twist test?

2009 ezgo rxv - need to test the motor, after googling found "twist test" i need to know what this is. Or how to test the motor. Right now, cart will run but about 1 mph. And makes noise from rear.

The controller goes through a list of tests when the key is first turned on. The "twist test" is one of them. Controller leaves motor brake locked, but tries to twist the motor 1/2 turn in each direction. If the motor brake does not prevent the motor from turning, the brake has failed the twist test.

You need to get the "rxv troubleshooting guide for danaher", it has motor test.
