Ez Go not moving
96 series cart 48v all batteries are 8.7 but 1 and that one is 8.9 pack v is 52.
Cart died on me yesterday. Did a charge overnight still nothing. No click on solenoid when go pedal is pressed. No voltage drop when pedal is pressed as well. I’ve been ready a sticky that Scotty b put up, guess next step is solenoid test but my helper just left for a ball game. On a side note also the go pedal has been sticking lately, not sure if the 2 issues are related or not but you’d press the pedal to go and it would hesitate then go like a bat out of hell and the pedal would stay to the floor.... |

Check voltage to main negative from each of the small terminals on Sol with key on and pedal down. If you have pack voltage in both places or on the red wire only, you likely have a Sol problem. If the red wire on small terminal does not have pack voltage, you have an issue in the sol control circuit. The control circuit is simply several switches in series that all must close for sol to activate. Those switches are: the F/R switch which is on when cart is in gear, the pedal micro switch which is on when pedal is down, the charger interlock switch which is on when charger is UNPLUGGED, and the key switch. If a good Sol is not closing, the circuit above is not energized due to broken wire or failed or open switch. I guess a more simple test would be to run a SMALL jumper wire from the small terminal with red wire to main positive. If Sol clicks, problem is in control circuit, no click and problem is likely sol. NOTE do not connect jumper wire above to terminal with black wire or any color wire going to B- on controller. |

Re: Ez Go not moving
Only got voltage on red wire side of solenoid so I reckon that’s the issue. Thanks
