Default RXV freedom mode

Hi all. I just purchased a 2011 EZ GO RXV and it's definitely set at the lowest speed possible and I can tell the speed is being limited by the speed setting. I contacted my local dealer and they indicated they can only upgrade the Curtis controller. How can I tell if my cart has the Curtis or the Danaher controller?

Thanks for any help!

You have a Danaher controller. If you can't find anyone local to change the speed there are services on ebay that can program it. You would have to remove the controller and send it to them.

Thanks for confirming! I also checked the controller and noticed the sticker did say Danaher. I'm located just outside of Nashville TN. I called another place and they said they could do the Danaher controller if it had the hookup for the device. He seemed to indicate some have hookups and some don't. From what he described, it sounded like this connection (see first pic) but I could be way off. Can anyone confirm if I have the connection needed to hook up to the pass key type device?

Thanks

And passkey won’t work on that one. You need the old style hand held and a password to unlock it.

I was just reading through another post about this and it does sound like I need to find someone with a Danaher programmer which apparently is hard to find. So far the only 2 dealers near me only do Curtis.

That being said, anyone near the Nashville area that has this type of programmer?

Thanks!

Im also looking for someone to do some work on my danaher controller what kinda options all there? Can i get more torque out of it? I'm adding lift and 23inch tires tomorrow so I believe that will increase the speed correct? Im mainly worried about torque this will be a off road cart to ride around on my property.
