Way to much power
I have a 1984 ezgo marathon 36v 3 wheeled cart. I have replaced the solenoid, the accelerator micro switch and the motor. I have reconnected everything as it was. I replaced and repaired several wires and repaired others. I now have between 116v and 118v. The key switch works fine. I get a click when I hit the accelerator pedal but no movement. I'm stumped as to why I am getting so much voltage? Any help would be helpful. Thanks folks.

Re: Way to much power
Hmm.... I don't even know how that is possible...
Can you post a picture of your batteries that show how the cables are connecting them together? |

Re: Way to much power
I agree that it sounds like your meter is not functioning correctly which may be fixed by replacing the battery in your meter.
Before you do that, for the sake of science, check the voltage of your 36 volt battery pack with the same meter and see what you get. |
