Normal brake click ...can you quiet it?
Hi guys, new member, lurked for years, Anyway, the only gripe with my 2014 RXV is the electric motor brake double "click" every time you press or release the accelerator. When sneaking around the hunting woods in the wee hours that dang thing practically echo's! Or at least it seems like it. My old drum brake Yamaha was quiet as a church mouse. I have been putting the switch in the N position and coasting down to make due but even the key switch clicks besides being a PIA way to do things.
Is there any way to quiet the brake on an RXV? |

Not that I know of. And "wrapping it up" with something would just cause it to overheat & fail faster.

I agree. Good lord knows that is the weak spot on an RXV. No need to push it any harder.
