A quick THANK YOU to Bob Boyce and usgicollector!
I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Bob Boyce and usgicollector for their help with my Curtis controller.
Usgicollector was awesome to work with, quick responses to my many questions and really appreciate his guidance through the process. Bob did an amazing job on the controller, picked up 10mph, new top end is 33mph, made some adjustments to the regen braking and the cart seems to run a bit smoother at 1/2 throttle. I really appreciate everything both of you did, it is members like each of you that make BGW a great site! |

Re: A quick THANK YOU to Bob Boyce and usgicollector!
This is the kind of experience I love to read as a newbie RXV owner here. While I don't completely understand what they did... it makes me happy to know there are ways to improve my RXV/curtis controller.

Re: A quick THANK YOU to Bob Boyce and usgicollector!
Refresh my memory, is the Curtis controller the older one or newer one? I have a 2012 RXV and was told by our local shop I could not go faster than 19.5 mph unless I changed to the newer controller, but I cannot remember which one I have.

You must have the gray one which is a Danaher.

Ok that is what I thought. I was just hoping someone had figured out how to program those. They told me I would have to change to the Curtis to get more speed.

You cannot change the settings in the danaher to go faster than 19.5.

Re: A quick THANK YOU to Bob Boyce and usgicollector!
Just joined the forum as I just got an 2015 RXV and excited to do some things to it. Reading all of the great things about Bob Boyce and isgicollector and what they have done to help others is incredible. Look forward to reading more posts of most common things to think about on my RXV.
