Default TXT goes in reverse but not forward???

I ran into a problem with my 00’ EZGO txt series cart. While at the course my cart decided it didn’t want to go forward anymore. Reverse still works but not forward. It’s a 36v converted to 48v with Scottys SR500/400 kit and a Plumquick motor. About a month or so ago I purchased the heavy duty F/R upgrade so its now a switch and not the series style handle. When I flip the F/R switch to reverse I can hear the click in the contactor and the cart moves in reverse but no click and no movement when I flip the switch to forward. I tried swapping the wires on the rocker switch to see if that did anything and nothing changed. I recently purchased a 2015 RXV thats having issues as well so id really appreciate some input that could save me from throwing money at random parts and crossing my fingers it solves the problem. Having 2 broke down carts isnt a fun situation to be in.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I am not an EzGo guy but most likely the Reversing Contactor is welded/stuck in the "reverse" side.

You can try to tap the top of the Reverse Contactor with a hammer wood handle to see if they release.

If that does not work place your voltmeter in the coil terminals of the Forward side and see if You have pack voltage when you have the FNR in Forward and press the accelerator pedal.

Make sure you keep one of the rear wheels off the ground during the tests in case the cart runs.

And if beating it with a hammer fails to make it perform try swapping the leads on the outter ends of the F&R switch. I'm seeing a few of these aftermarket switches fail.

He already tried swapping the wires at the FNR and that is why I suggested the tapping first as it is the easiest test.

Checking the voltage right at the Reversing Contactor coil would then be the best way to eliminate a wiring problem.

I checked voltage and it was the same in forward and reverse, unless I’m checking the wrong one. I can follow instructions and pull anything apart and put back together, just not too savy in trouble shooting electrical unless it’s a stereo🤦🏻*♂️. Both of these contractors click when I flip the switch to reverse, no click in forward. I have a pic but not sure how to upload from my phone

By default, power OFF, both sides of that reversing contactor are making contact with the bottom studs.

When You turn the FNR to forward or Reverse, only a single side of that Reversing contactor is powered and the Top contacts make connection.

You need to set your multimeter to DC volts (200v if scale is needed) and place the meter probes on the small terminals of the contactor where the diodes should also be connected.

The set of small terminals on one side is activate in Forward and the set on other side in Reverse.

You should measure pack voltage when that side of the Reversing Contactor is powered.

To power the Reverse Contactor You most likely have to have the FNR in that position (Forward or Reverse) and the accelerator pedal pressed.

If You are getting pack voltage on the Forward side when You do that, the Contactor has failed.

If You never get pack voltage, You have a wiring issue.

I would tap the Reverse Contactor with the wood handle first.

Hooked up the multimeter. On one side of the contactors i have 51.1v when the switch is in Reverse, 0v on that same side when the switch is in Forward.
On the other contactor i have 0v when in Reverse and 0v in Forward.
Kinda sums it up to a bad contactor doesnt it?

No, sorry but the opposite, it means You likely have a bad connection or a broken wire since You said You have already swapped the two outside wires on the FNR.

Follow both wires from that side of the coil terminals to see if you find a loose or broken connection.
