Default Spark Timing

I have an EZ GO with a Robin model EH29C engine. The engine won't start.I know it's getting gas and the battery is fully charged.
With both of the spark plugs out of the cylinders and grounded, each time I press the accellator and engage the starter, each plug fires once at the same time and only once for as long as the starter remains engaged. They will fire once every time no matter how rapidly I do this.

welcome.

the plugs do fire at the same time, it sounds like your ignitor is bad.

what year is it.

its located in the right front of the engine compartment next to the voltage regulator, are is no test for the ignitor! it needs to switched out with a known working one.
the screw driver is pointing to it, right under the solenoid.
