Default 1990 ezgo will not turn over after running

Just got my 90 ezgo running today, it runs real good but after running it a few minute when i stop it will not start for about 5 minutes. I does does not even kick the sylenoid so i know the problem is somewhere in the wiring before it gets to the sylenoid. Any suggestions?

check all your grounding points and then get out the multi meter.

I will be checking the grounds tomorrow, but I was looking at parts online and the coil and soylenoid neither look stock, both had been replaced before I got the cart. Could this be my problem? I'm sure the coil is not an issue right now because the issue is at or before the soylenoid , but will the coil fail on me?

The coils are not as prone to failure as the solenoid. I know that if you try and use off brand solenoids you tend to run into trouble. It would pay to make sure it is factory spec. Must be continuous duty.
