marathon loose steering
what should i check first, the steering gets loose when i have the cart floored. its not bad just enough to notice. its a 94 marathon. thanks

Check tire pressure then tierod ends and king pin wear and steering box |

You can jack it up and take hold of a front wheel top and bottom and see just how much wear is in the king pins.

ok i will check the steering this weekend. so check the kingpins, tierod and steering box? have any of yall ever fixed this issue? what price range would i be looking at?

You can get about 90% of the parts needed to repair now, or a complete after market assembly.

I tightened up the steering on mine. It took a pair of tie rod ends and the ball joint that attached to the steering box. Luckily my spindle bushings were OK. Just make sure you set the toe in if you change any tie rod ends.

If these parts everyones talking about seem ok...... then you need to set the toe-in on it, (1/8"-1/4" less in the front) if it's not set right, it'll get kinda squirrelly at higher speeds
