Gap at the rear is fine, as long as u have it apart you might as well get new bushings. They are cheap.....

Thanks kcnaz!

While I'm waiting for the bushings and some other items to show thought I would ask about the front upper shock mount.

First, the lift instructions note to mount the new upper to the existing shock mount, check the steering then drill and bolt the bottom tab.

So the question for those that have put this lift on their G1!

Which hole did you guys end up using? Figure it would be better to start in the same spot that others ended up using!

Thanks in advance!

Stuff showed up and Stephen got me the fixed sheave for the old style clutch!! Thanks a bunch Stephen (Skarp)!! I was able to get the fixed sheave off last night. Again thanks to Stephen for letting me borrow the clutch puller!!

I bought new seals for the oil pump since it right there anyway. However, need to find the post that talks about changing them.

Can anyone post a quick link??? Also, still looking for an answer from the last post about the front shock mount???

Alright!! Started putting the front end back together and ended up striping one of the nut and bolts for the front part of the A frame (first pic above)! Think I have a back-up option using a none pinned bolt but wonder if there is a match at autozone or the like!!

Actually decided to hold off!! It was running fine when we started so figured why mess with it since it's broke!! I know, I know, I was right there!! I have the seals and I'll most likely but my own clutch puller down the road. Actually took it for a test ride last night!! It was great!! Hope to have everything back together this weekend and will get your puller sent back next Monday at the latest!
