Looks like if you follow AS350's lead you will be in business! That's the route I'm going, just on 36V.

Now someone is telling me if you trick a cart up like this, you cannot drive it slow because it will run hot. True or False?

Thats the point of the two speed rear end,you can run throttle more open in low, but lower cart speed, and faster in high. The way I understand it, the faster you run the motor, the less field resistance, and it runs cooler. Hope the others can chirp in, cause I'm sure I'm not explaining it in the best technical terms!
BTW- when I click on that link it opens in adobe?
I'll try downloading again,if that doesn't work,imaginative mfg. is a sponsor

i turned my 36v txt into a monster
48volt
2g wires
500 amp altrax
2 speed emp with on the fly switch
hd fnr and solenoid
25x10x12 four wheeler tires all the way around
on alloys
6 inch jakes spindle lift
I use this at a hunting lease in the hill country of texas... i have my
controller turned to 80% and i get 25mph on flat and faster on downhill..
Trust me this is way too fast on a squirrley cart... i feel like im gonna loose control
sometimes!!
It will pop wheelies and climb any hill,,,,, my only complaint is that is gets real froggy
when i hit multiple rocks going uphill..
