Usually they sell enough for one battery in a package. That looked like a good place for a repair....Good luck on the weld. I would like to see you succeed for just a few dollars and time invested here.

Well, the crack in the case extended just a little further up than I had thought.
I filled the dry cell, and the JB Weld looked good so I put it back in the Cart. I checked a little later, and there was a slight leak above my Weld. The JB site says it's acid resistant "after it's cured". I would agree with that, it's rock hard.
The problem I had the last two days was closing off that last little remaining leak.
I would recommend using the "Kwik JB Weld" It sets up in 5 minutes and cures in 4-6 hours.
The acid really affects it in its not cured state, and it was troublesome to close off that last little bit, but I think I got it.

Scotty, I've read this many times here, but it bears repeating:

"You da man!"

Glad I could help
My partner drilled a hole in a battery installing a speaker once, that's how we found out about JB

Yea , poked a hole in the battery also installing speaker. Used JB WaterWeld. No problems. It says on the packaging it will repair batteries among many other applications.
