OK G1 Guys, need advice/input please!

The stock speed on my G1 is 12 mph, if you are getting 21 then you have increased speed by over 75% which is awesome. To have more "power" you have to change the mechanical gearing so the engine runs in the peak of its power band which will cause you to loose top end speed. A stronger spring in the secondary clutch will give you the mechanical advantage (higher gear ratio) you need for power and hopefully you don't loose much on the top end.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I too think it's always a trade off, at least with golf carts anyways. These machines weren't meant to go fast or to do work so we are really asking alot by trying to do both LOL. But I will try anyway. I do have a build thread going on this now, so as soon as my parts come in I'll be updating it.
