G16 keeps running

I have a 2000 G16 and when I let off the gas and set the brake to get off of the cart it continues to idle.(sometimes for 5 minutes) Its not that bad but sometimes you want to be in stealth mode on the deer lease and it continues to run while key is off and brake is set.
Any suggestions?

Several things to check. 1st-the tci wire connector (at the front of the engine) blue and black leads, check the wires haven't been pulled out of the wire harness connector. 2nd-may have a "sticking" accelerator stop switch (at the pedal). 3rd-could have a solenoid that is sticking sometimes. 4th-could be the engine stop relay (unplug it and see if it stops the problem). 5th-I have had several cars that kept running-found it was the voltage regulator. Found it... The black wire that bolts to the front of the engine(ones that you mentioned) had come loose and causing my concerns.
Replaced the missing bolt and it works correctly now.THANKS
