Aren't the cup holders on a G1 molded into the front cowl?

1979/80/81 used a removeable rubber cup holder (part# j10-78359-00-00), 1982 and up front cowels had molded in "beverage" holders. I like those things, have installed them in G3/G5 Sunclassic car's that didn't have any holders(?), or any car that has a flat surface with about 5" available to cut a hole. Men have to have beverage container holders, right?

But by the end of the day in the hot summer sun, abrupt stops become real interesting
