battery rewiring
Hey guys thinking about rewiring my cart its a 2010 club car precedent the current wires are a bit ratty and just want to be sure i get the best preformance out of my cart the cart is standard.
The wire i can get my hands on is 2 guage and nice and flexable i just have a few questions. Is it better to solder or crimp the lugs on? is it worth just doing the battery connections or should i do the ones to the motor and controller as well? thanks very much for youe help |

Re: battery rewiring
Just to add one more thing but this is more of a general question.
Why other than the fact its easy to bend is it better to use high strand count cable for a golf cart than a cable with only 20 strands??? |

Re: battery rewiring
if your going to replace the wires then replace all of them.
I soldered mine one on and then shrink tubed them. that is going to come down to personal choice to solder or crimp. As far as strand count for all I read it is better to have a higher count. that gets into the debate on how the electrons flow though or on the surface of the strands themselves |

Re: battery rewiring
Crimp and then solder. Use heat shrink tubing on all connections.
