DCX500 - Missing Part???
So, my cart currently does not reverse and I was able to narrow it down to a controller issue. I ordered the Alltrax DCX 500. I have a 2006 CC Precedent with the Plum Quick Bandit (purple) motor. I went to install the controller last night and it looks like I am missing a harness (10-pin) that connects the adapter piece to the controller. I attached a picture to help explain as I am a newb and probably didn't use the right verbiage
Thanks. -Newb |

Yes all the CC DCX controllers come with the 10 pin interface adapter. If you got a control without the interface be sure it is programmed for your cart. Contact your supplier.

Also, please reverse the direction of the bolt going through the large right hand terminal marked B-. Its so close to the other bolt its scary. I'm pretty sure it would never arc, but why give it the opportunity?

Re: DCX500 - Missing Part???
Okay thanks. Thanks for responding so quickly. I ordered from buggies unlimited, I'll give them a call. So I'm missing the 10 piece that connects the circuit board they sent me, to the controller correct? Anyone else have this set up that can post a pic? Be nice to make sure I did it right

Doesn't the board plug right onto the pins sticking out of the controller?

Re: DCX500 - Missing Part???
The board plugs onto the controller pin array and secures with a screw (supplied) It comes with every Alltrax DCX-IQ controller from factory
be aware you may have ordered the wrong controller that won't work with your cart. Have your CC id # handy when you call to verify you have the proper control. The same controller can be programmed to fit other makes without the adapter. |
