No Go. Troubleshooting help.
I have a 87 DS 36v resistor cart. I just bought it. It was not running and the batteries had been removed for storage. I installed a set of known good batteries from my other cart. The cart does not move in forward or reverse. I do hear a click when the gas pedal is depressed (sounds like a micro-switch). I would like some troubleshooting advice in regards to the sequence of events that need to happen to make it go.
Thank You |

Well, they will want pack voltage when idle, then pack voltage when you hit the go pedal......did you try to jump the solenoid?......(2 large post on top, I just use a screwdriver).....jack up rear wheels first of course....

Re: No Go. Troubleshooting help.
I have no experience on the solenoid carts, when you said "resistor" cart (second diagram) I thought I might actually know something....somebody will chime in here shortly though....

Re: No Go. Troubleshooting help.
I would still jump the master solenoid (rear wheels off ground) to see if you get anything.....

Re: No Go. Troubleshooting help.
Update. I checked continuity of the key switch, microswitch on the FnR, the FnR and the motor. All good. I do hear a solenoid click but no go.
