Re: lifing Club Car DS
but i thought that if you just flipped the spring over the axle you dont need the block. Isnt the block only if you want exta lift??

Re: lifing Club Car DS
By "block" I mean spring perch. Not sure how well the spring is going to do sitting on the round axle tube. Look at it again you should see

Re: lifing Club Car DS
All of the stock CC golf car block/spring perch's are welded to the axle from what I've seen, and are reused for support of the brake cable bracket!
Being that I purchased an actual lift for my cart and the rear "perch's" came with it. I've seen Utility Trailer "leaf spring perch's" in my local Fleet Farm here, (or Tractor supply etc.) and it may be a possibility that they'd fit the axle! (never tried them though!) Stock: Lift: They just might be cheaper, and easier to buy them, then to make them! .02 |

Re: lifing Club Car DS
Just curious why you ordered them from DIY instead of a site sponsor?
I forgot to mention you may also need longer shocks or extensions. |
