but i thought that if you just flipped the spring over the axle you dont need the block. Isnt the block only if you want exta lift??

By "block" I mean spring perch. Not sure how well the spring is going to do sitting on the round axle tube. Look at it again you should see

Most of the stuff for my cart i manufacture myself. hopefully i can make it stable ontop of the axle using a block lol

All of the stock CC golf car block/spring perch's are welded to the axle from what I've seen, and are reused for support of the brake cable bracket!
Being that I purchased an actual lift for my cart and the rear "perch's" came with it.
I've seen Utility Trailer "leaf spring perch's" in my local Fleet Farm here, (or Tractor supply etc.) and it may be a possibility that they'd fit the axle!
(never tried them though!)

They just might be cheaper, and easier to buy them, then to make them!

So mrgolf all you did is add the HD leaf spring and it lifted the backend a 1 1/2 inch? where did you buy them from?

You the spring perch. These came in the lift kit we got and just need to be welded on the top of the axle tubes. You can see we left the originals in place on the bottom.

I ordered them from east coast carts, site sponsor. Got new bushings with them.
Very happy with them and the lift I got.

Sweet man just got mine ordered from DIY golf carts got the HD springs for front and back!! Hope i get some lift to stop my tire rubbing.

Just curious why you ordered them from DIY instead of a site sponsor?

I forgot to mention you may also need longer shocks or extensions.
