Based on the F-R lever in the photos, yours appears to be a series cart (the type that people find easiest to obtain upgrade parts). It isn't IQ or Regen, because the F-R lever would be a small rocker switch.

Yes, you can pull the serial number to tell. If it starts out AQ then you've got an I.Q. cart and from the factory it should have regen braking.

AQ07 is the 1st 4 in serial

You definitely have an I.Q. cart. And the cart also has regen braking. You have the I.Q. rocker switch, not the series shift lever. On the newer DS I.Q. carts, CC changed the F-R switch to a more modern design.
