My original wiring harness has two wires (one red and one black). Yes the new lights do have a wiring harness (pigtail) that has three wires and a different connector (possibly for a three wire system). I will try y'all suggestion and see if it works. Thanks for everyone's help.

My tail light assembly does not have a black wire. They are red, brown white.
Red and white make the brake light filament burn. Brown and white make the tail light filament burn. |
