Same thing I was thinking!!

- I was looking for an IQ cart but did not find any running ones.

- the batteries allowed me to test drive the cart, but within 5 mins it was running out of juice. The battery guy said these are really old, but they were not the oldest he had seen, but the oldest running ones this year.

So what are my up grade path options here? A motor will increase speed and a controller with increase torque? The cables are 6 gauge and not in the best of shape. Any sense in going to 2 gauge over 4 gauge?

Thx,

M

I would recommend one of Scotty B's speed packages and then if that's not fast enough you can upgrade the motor. Welcome congrats and good luck!

So how bad is it?

Here is what I have so my plan is to do the following to increase speed:

- install new battery cable set (2 gauge or 4 gauge?)

- Install faster motor

Do I need a digital voltage meter?

Do I need a new controller, solenoid ?

Thanks,

M

You can buy a package deal through anybody that will include motor, controller, hd f/r switch, hd solinoid and heavy guage cables. Price would be better since you are getting everything in 1 shot and everything will be matched up to work together.
