Default Lifting and braking

Hi all
I have a 2007 electric CCPrecedent. Looking at putting on a Madjax 6" lift. Anyone have any experience with this product. Also ? About the braking. Whenever I go downhill it seems as though no matter if I keep my foot on the gas it seems to want to slow down or brake. I believe I was told my speed setting is on 3 about 14mph. What can I do if any to get rid of this braking thing on my own?
Thanks

Howdy BiggDD. You're in Spriddle's Corner of the forum, a great section to read and post in if you feel led, but the cart topics are better handled in the cart section up top of the main page.

Here's a link to the electric CC section where your question will get the best response: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/electric-club-car/

Post your question in that section and you'll get a lot more traffic from the guys who know electric CCs inside and out.

Are you talking about a spindle lift or A-Arm lift?

I just installed a Madjax A-Arm lift on my 2009... had zero problems, and installation was pretty straight forward. I also got the HD springs for the rear too. Really happy with it so far. With 23" tires mine goes 20mph on speed code 3, with older (2009) batteries.

Thanks jra007! I think I'm going with the a-arm. Thanks 93yellowclubcar!

You may want to install a high speed motor magnet to eliminate the motor braking that's limiting your speed.
