50.4 is 90% charge. IMO they have a lot of life left.

Yeah I have one battery that is pulling the number down. It is about .2 lower than the rest. This is the same battery that testing out to have a bad cell being in the "fair" range on the hydrometer. Had one other cell in a different battery that was also in the fair range.

Did another recharge and let sit for 12 hours overnight. Now getting 51.1 across pack. 8.49, 8.49, 8.54, 8.48, 8.47, 8.52. Hydro tested cells again as well, and only found two total cells at 1.250 and 1.260, which is the upper end of the fair condition. Rethinking my supposed to be purchase of new batteries today.

I would keep the current batteries unless you are getting a heck of a deal that will never come up again on new ones. Like Big Block said 50.4 is 90% charge. You still have plenty of life left in those batteries if you don't discharge them below 50% SOC, and keep up on the maintenance of them.

That's what I'm going to do. Ordering a voltmeter from scottyB to make sure I know where it is during use. Also maintenance will be no issue as it drives me crazy when people let their batteries go dry. Thanks for help.

You may want to do a few equalizing charges to see if you can get those weak cells up to voltage.
Assuming You are using the standard OBC/Powerdrive setup, after a full charge and 12 hours rest, without moving the cart, unplug the DC cord, wait 20sec and plug it again.
The OBC will detect the cart has not moved and start an equalize charge that will run higher ending volts and longer than a regular charge. That may allow the weak cell to get enough charge. The bubbling action of the electrolyte will also do some scrubbing on the plates surface.

I will absolutely try that. If these batteries will make it through the summer and maybe even next summer, then I definitely got a steal on my cart.
