Default new cart

just bought a 2002 clubcar. lady said it only needed batteries, bought batteries. with run tow switch in tow I installed new batteries en I hooked up the red wire for the voltage reducer it sparked is this normal

Good luck with your cart. I bought a 2002 last year and keep it stock up until now. I added a rear seat, HF leaf springs, light kit, steering wheel, 6" spindle kit with 22" tires and vampire rims. Had a lot of fun doing it and I think it looks awesome. Now my daughter wants a pink cart at 9 years old. I am in trouble ! Lol
