Default Missing 12 Pin Connector

Just bought a light kit that is supposed to plug in to the extra 12 pin connector on the factory harness behind the dash. I opened my dash and found a strange connector that will not work. What do I do?

That 4 pin connector you're showing in the picture is for Club Car's Visage system (Golf Course GPS) It's got nothing to do with lights. The Precedent you're trying to install lights on is not pre wired from the factory like early models. That's the reason you can't find your connector. You need to purchase a Precedent Bucket Harness and install it on the car in order to have lights. The bucket harness will have the correct connector on the end of it for your lights to plug into.

My wife's cart is an '07. Can I swap harnesses with her cart? It has the correct wiring?

No... Her lighting harness is integrated into the main harness of the car along with all of the main vehicle wiring. It's also a different length due to controller/obc location.

OK, apparently I have what I need already. I have the light kit, rear bucket harness and voltage reducer. I have it assembled in the attached picture with extra wires labeled 1-8. I know I can put this whole thing in with no problems but hooking it up to the batteries is what I'm not sure about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a 2010 with (6) 8-volt batteries.

The way you show everything connected, including the voltage converter: Wire #1 spade connector goes to the +48v or pack positive, wire #2 bullet connector goes to the pack negative connector in the battery compartment.
