The main belt won't move until the cart fires up. When the cart fires up, the engine rpms increase, and the sheaves of the drive clutch will come together to "pinch" the main belt, causing it to grab and begin spinning the drivetrain.

OK on mine there are 3 wires coming out of the rev limiter. The two black or very dark wires are combined and go to a connector and from there two black or very dark wires are fed out. One for sure goes to the coil, the other not sure would have to look closer. The third wire is brown and is the ground for the rev limiter. It has a ring connector that is attached to any bolt in the area for ground. On mine it is disconnected because I found the rev limiter was causing my shutdown and no spark issues. So with the ground off the rev limiter doesnt function. I will try to see where the other black wire goes but thats my 1993 Club wiring, yours should be the same.....

okay thanks ,the wires r just like you said bcsman and seems like i am to the point of disconnecting that ground to the rev limiter and see if that gets me moving.
