OK I had given up on it for awhile. But I checked the #2 and #3 pin going to the rear drive controller. Each one have 50v when the FNR switch is in their varied locations. In other words in reverse pin 3 has 50v and in forward pin 2 has 50v. So this eliminates the FNR switch as it is giving voltage.
However with a computer hooked up to the rear controller when you switch the FNR to forward the switch does not close. Checking the front wheel controller it will close forward in forward and close reverse when in reverse. So it appears to me that even though the controller has no codes it is not seeing the voltage to energize the contactor. I dont know if I am explaining this well at all but it is the best I can explain it. BTW one time when I hit the throttle in forward one of the contactors clicked and all 4 wheels turned. I let off the throttle and pushed it down again and no click and no rear wheel drive. I am afraid there is something not working right in the controller. |
