Loading a new field map alltrax

Alltrax reviewed the monitor file I sent them, and they emailed me a new field map to try. They requested I record another monitor file so they can evaluate it. My question is, how do I actually upload this map to my controller from the toolkit?

Also, they said to feel the motor to make sure it isn't getting too hot. I mean, what is too hot? Thanks all.

Don't guess - they are saying watch your motor does not get TOO HOT AND FRY> get a temperature sensor. There is a thread on these in Ezgo electric section.

On the map loading - do you have the manual for the toolkit? It shows how to do this.

I'll snag a sensor. I checked out the manual but that fact that I'm not a computer guy it seems confusing. I'll wing it and hope for the best. Thanks ScottyB.

Winging it is not always the best avenue with electronics.

Save the map (from your email) to your desktop.

Locate the field map icon on the desk top so you can find it when needed.
Open the Alltrax toolkit manual http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/Doc1...kit-Manual.pdf
to page 8.3 Upgrading field maps
Read the small instruction for upgrading field map.

Plug the laptop usb cable into the XCT.
Notice LED lights or flashes and open the toolkit.
Note the name of the current field map. (bottom of pg 1)

Follow the instructions pg 8.3 and load the map. Once the green progress bar at the bottom of the toolkit screen is finished.... hit refresh and note the new field map name.

Close the toolkit and drive.
