Default Anyone with brake lights on a Pargo? Need some pointers.

Next project on the list is turn signals and brake lights. The turn signals are easy, Im just getting one of those column mount universal switches off eBay.

But the brake lights are a little more tricky. Mostly the mounting of the switch and type of switch. If you have pictures that would help allot. Thanks.

Pargo ...LOL it sounds like were working parallel projects . I just went thru the same issue . I ended up using a switch I had sitting on the shelf that I believe is an old refridgerator door light switch or maybe a car interior door switch . Its an normally closed spring loaded switch . It works great and been tested with my universal turn signal switch on my Pargo . I mounted it on the same mount that holds my brake pedal rubber snubber stop . Its kind of crude but works .

It at least should give you some ideals .

I also couldn't bring myself to drill holes in the rear fender bodywork , especially after all the bodywork I did to get them straight . I searched the internet for what few Pargo taillight pictures I could find , and really didn't see any taillights that I liked . So I'm going with motorcycle style rear turn signals which are going to be mounted to the two outside bumper carriage bolts via L brackets . The only issue I might have is taillight to fender clearance when I raise the body for maintenance .

Awesome project and those are almost the same taillights Im going with.

I was considering 1949 Dodge special taillights but they are just to large.

Up front Im going with the classic round headlights with a small visor.

Ill post pictures when I have something to show. Thanks again.
