Question How to safely remove the front tire

Hi all,
been awhile since I was last here. Finally getting started on my Electra-king. How do I safely remove the front wheel to change the tire? Thank you, Rick.
I forgot my main concern is the front suspension spring that is attached to the rear of the fork assy., is that going to fly apart when I remove the front wheel? Thank you, Rick

Looks to me like you remove the nut and pull the bolt out of the center of the wheel and remove the tire/wheel. Pretty straight forward. If'n I'm not missing something that is

I wouldn't think that the spring is held in place by the wheel and tire. If you remove the other two bolts, one on each side then all bets are off

Sorry I've never done one of those. Looks pretty simple as David said.

Thanks David,
Looks like just remove the large axle nut on the right and push the bolt thru to the left to pull the wheel out from the fork (and don't touch the 2 smaller nuts at the back). I was concerned about how the spring will react when the wheel bolt is removed and if I will have trouble getting the wheel back on (may have to push down on the car to compress the spring to realign the holes)? Rick.

The spring is actually 2 springs locked together. They are completely relaxed when the wheel has no load on it. So with cart jacked off the floor the spring will do nothing when the tire is removed.
