Default 2004 Club Car Precedent Gas Throttle Cable

My pedal does start my cart till it is at least 1" depressed, so i tried to adjust the cable that goes to the pedal right under the floor board it was adjusted to the last thread on the cable (the nut was at the end of the shielding cable). Doesn't seem to be any other adjustments to be made. The pull (inner cable seems loose not the shielding cover. Could someone have moved the adjustment on the transaxle rod?
Thanks for any help!!

Not sure on your Precedent mate but my 2000 adjusted easily on the cam cable and it gives a quicker response to the pedal input after adjustment. Much smoother than the factory setting and faster as well !!! Combined with the other modifications on this site she pulls an easy 22mph when asked on standard tyres. Golf course use only though which is easy on the motor :)
