They're close to not needing a lift, the 3" would be plenty. You might even get away with 1"-2" spacers.

Re: How much lift do I need.
I am running 20.5's with hd springs on the rear and a good stock spring on the front with a 3 inch extension plate. however i don't think the extension plate was necessary, it was just there.

Re: How much lift do I need.
The extension plate pushes the whole front end out for more wheel to body clearance. It lengthens the wheelbase. That solves some clearance issues.... 3 inches would be enough lift for your tires without the extension.

Re: How much lift do I need.
actually that was a typo. it was a 2 inch plate. i had more clearance issues on the top than the back of the tire. my problem turned out to be a VERY worn out front spring.
i have often wondered at what a market would be for a spindle for a ds that only raised the front an inch. there is technically about that much room on a stock spindle to cut it off and reweld it there. seems easy enough to mass produce them for those that do that sorta thing. -Aaron |

Re: How much lift do I need.
My brother and I own a machine shop I may look into doing that on the spindles off my cart when I take them off. We are looking for something that we can make to sell.

Re: How much lift do I need.
I ordered the Jake's 3" spindles for my cart I still want to add the hd rear springs but I wonder if the electric cart has a stiffer spring than a gas cart?

Re: How much lift do I need.
The HD springs are the same for Gas and electric and unless you have some serious weight on them like 300# it will ride like the axle is bolted to the frame.
