If fuel is getting to the carb, but not thru the carb, problem is the carb.

He pours gas in the hole and it runs...which means it will run if it has fuel.

This may be my problem also. How do you unstick a valve?

It won't even pop off if the intake was stuck.

I'm an EZGO man myself so I know squat about Club Cars but wouldn't an 88 be a 2 stroke? If so I can tell you from bitter experience that you need to be looking at your crankshaft seals.

how much fuel is the fuel pump delivering? did you unhook the line and crank it over to see how much it will put in a coffee can in 5 or 10 seconds? Also, are you testing this with the air box un-hooked? These are designed to run with the air box on causing some vacuum on the air cleaner side.
