2008 Club Car XRT 850 Golf Cart hour meter

Hello! I am looking to find some help. For some reason my hour meter isn't working and I'd like to correct this before selling my 2008 Club Car XRT 850 Golf Cart. Can someone help me what to look for or at in order to fix it? Thanks!

Welcome to BGW 86hdgirl!

Well, there are two situations:

1) If no numbers appear on the hour meter, there may be a good possibility that a wire is off of the back of the meter.

2) If there are numbers, but they don't change after 6 to 10 minutes, the meter is bad and you'll have to replace it.

You'll have to remove the dash panel in order to do either, and I have no info on how to do that,
because, I think that your XRT 850 has the F/N/R shifter on the dash, so it's a bit different the DS's or Precedents.

Maybe someone else can chime in on that!

Thanks:) I'll check out the wire. The gas meter works just not the hours meter. I appreciate the help:)
